Live with the end in mind

Reckless. Thoughtless. Careless. Imprudent. Irresponsible in thought, deed. Making rash decisions that could cost you your future; a moment's pleasure that could cause you a lifetime of pain.

There's a big difference between worrying about the future and living with the end in mind. Living with the end in mind means you live life and make very decision based on what effect it'll have on your life in the future. it's all about making responsible decisions that may be difficult in the moment but will lead to you living a happier life in the future.

The trick to living with the end in mind is striking a balance between living life to the fullest day by day and remembering that although we are to ENJOY our lives, for every action there's a REaction. You may not immediately see the consequences of your actions but sooner or later they will show.

Plan ahead. Think about, but don't worry about the future. Do what you can and trust God to do what you can't.

Accident? I don't think so!

I’ve stopped believing in coincidence, chance or things happening somehow. Day in day out, God makes me aware of His influence and I see His hand in my life.

It’s no accident you are surrounded by the people you are surrounded by, in the situation you are in, at the place you’re at. Uncomfortable or unfamiliar as some situations may be, EACH and EVERY position you’re in is meant to grow you. Instead of complaining about your situation, use it as a stepping stone to take you to the next level. Learn as much as you can from those around you and open your mind to new ideas. Take advantage of all the things that surround you and never miss an opportunity to make someone smile.

If you allow Him to order your steps, your paths will be made straight and He will cause all things to work for your good. You will sleep and rise at just the right moment, arrive somewhere at just the right moment, and maybe even arrive at the shoe shop just as the sales lady is slashing 75% off the normal price of the last pair of that shoe you’ve been saving up for! ;-)

Iron sharpens iron, so best believe that if you need some “sharpening” God will cause you to cross paths with some hardcore *iron* people and less malleable *plastic* people.
