For the ladies :)

So many people are caught up in the Hollywood craze of trying to be bigger (boobs), better (botox) more beautiful. Caught up in the stereotypes of what is regarded as beautiful. Waiting for the latest showbiz news to see what’s in and what’s out and what new eat-a-grape-a-day type diets have been discovered. Crazy things we do to look good and to be acceptable to prying eyes. So often we forget that beauty is skin deep, and it goes far beyond the exterior and the centimeter thick layer of foundation we put on to cover up the blemishes; blemishes that are like your special unique barcode. Every freckle on your face is where it’s supposed to be. Every dimple on your body is right where it’s meant to be. All the jiggly bits, the coarse “mufushwa” hair ARE A PART OF YOU and make you YOU-nique. People, especially women need to FALL in LOVE with themselves. Stop wishing you had someone’s legs, another person’s behind and whoever else’s eyes, BECAUSE, YOU ARE NOT THEM. If you needed their body parts you would have them.

Often people spend too much time "improving" their exteriors when they really should invest in their interiors. Develop a good character and that inner beauty will radiate externally. Beauty is vain and a beautiful face is forgettable, but a person with a beautiful character is hard to forget.

With that said,

There’s nothing wrong with taking care of your body, staying in shape and generally being on point but make sure you do it for the right reasons.

No matter how big or small you are, walk with confidence on your lapelle. Be confident in who and what you are because you are created PERFECTLY (I SAID PERFECTLY) in His image.

*peace, love and blessings*

  1. 1Peter 3:4:“Instead, your beauty should consist of your true inner self, the ageless beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of the greatest value in God's sight.”
