Know your worth

How you value yourself is directly linked to how you let people treat you. Would you let people walk all over your expensive white imported Chenille rug with dirty muddy feet? People will treat you badly if you let them. If you don’t draw the boundaries of how far people can go, they will continually cross the line and mistreat you.

At some point, we have ALL sinned and fallen short of His glory, but through His grace and mercy we are made worthy. No matter how crumpled up a $100 bill is, it is still worth ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS and you can still use it to buy goods worth a HUNDRED DOLLARS. Stop allowing people to discredit you because of your past, because, it is exactly that, THE PAST. If God didn’t think you were worth it, you wouldn’t still be here.

People will always talk, but if you know who you are and what you’re worth, what they say should not define you.

“If we know we're worth more and we are, we know we deserve better. If we know our value, we won't settle for less or be less.”
